Deon Digital becomes a founding member of INATBA

On April 3rd 2019, INATBA has been founded

INATBA, International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications, has born out of the European Commission roundtable on the EU Blockchain Industry.

Blockchain and DLT technologies have attracted a lot of enterprise and media attention in the previous couple of year and not always for good reasons. The benefits that such technologies introduce to businesses are still largely untapped and billions of investments are flowing towards companies interested in its development and implementation.

The European Commission has a tradition of stimulating the growth of new technologies while at the same time assuming a role of guarantee that such technologies, and the companies involved, act in good faith and within the limits of the legal framework.

INATBA in their own words:

offers developers and users of DLT a global forum to interact with regulators and policy makers and bring blockchain technology to the next stage

The development of a regulatory framework for an emergent technology is a delicate matter. On the one hand we want to make sure that research and development are not hindered by bureaucracy, on the other hand it is necessary to protect workers and users by eventual misuse of such technology.

This is why Deon Digital is proud to be a founding member of INATBA. An initiative that will allow a constant channel of communication between regulators and private enterprise, so to make sure that Europe once more will be able to be the most fertile soil for the growth of new promising technologies. We look with extreme optimism to this initiative.

Deon Digital and its Digital Contracts will enable a truly digital economy, an economy that more than ever before will require a sophisticated global legal framework in which to operate securely and efficiently.

Apart from European Commission, INATBA is strongly supported by the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development the OECD, the World Bank, the UN World Food Program, UNFCCC and UNICEF, who have joined INATBA’s Governmental Advisory Board. In the coming future All EU Member States are expected to join as governmental advisors, making INATBA a focal point for the development of an international legal framework for the development of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.

This is just the beginning and INATBA is open for new members to join. Would you like your organization to become a member of INATBA? Then the first step is to visit INATBA’s website.
